Tintype Portraits

These tintype portraits are created in the studio using a historic wet plate collodion process. Each image is made by hand, resulting in a one-of-a-kind plate that cannot be reproduced. The process requires stillness and collaboration, creating space for a slower, more intentional portrait. Each sitter is approached as an individual presence, and the resulting image reflects both the subject and the conditions of its making.
